The Prince of the hard Italian cheeses is probably Parmigiano Reggiano, right followed by Grana Padano, even if it is a large kingdom! Buffalo mozzarella is a typical product that is tied to a region (Campania) and cannot be replicated with the same taste if produced in any other country. You can also prepare a Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. Just add fresh tomatoes, some basil leaves (if you have them), salt and good quality extra virgin olive oil. In this dish, so simple, the quality of the ingredients makes the difference.
