I really love this recipe. It can be served as an antipasto, appetizer or as a second dish.

The first time I proposed it at home my family was a little bit scared of eating raw tuna, but right after trying it they were asking for more. My son even called me abroad to ask for the recipe to prepare a special dinner for his girlfriend.

When I find real fresh tuna, I use to buy some more

quantity and then I freeze them using my food vacuum sealer. This way, when I feel like eating this gourmet recipe I have all the ingredients at home

Ingredients (4 people):

• 6 big tuna steaks (about 21 ounces);

• the juice of 2 big lemons;

• 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil;

• salt;

• pepper

How to prepare it:

Cut the raw tuna in small cubes.

Put the lemon juice inside a small bowl, add salt and pepper and then beating it with a fork add the olive oil slowly, always beating.

Mix it with the tuna and try it to check salt. Add salt if necessary.

Keep it into the refrigerator for about 1 hour before serving.

I use to put individual servings inside a small bowl and reverse it on a small plate to serve.

It gives a cute form and a more inviting presentation just as the picture aside.

It is easy because you just have to pass a clean knife around and it will come out easily because of the oil.
