Risotto recipes, fall in love with Italian rice beginning with a basic risotto recipe.

These are the ones I cook most. They are easy and tasty, and pleases my family :-)

There is another way of cooking rice in Italy, even if less known. It is just boiling it. Boil it as for the pasta, using less salted water. When it's done, strain it with a colander and then add abundant butter and grated parmesan cheese . Eat immediately, as its goodness is part from eating it hot (ideal for cold days).

To prepare this simple dish, you need a good quality brand like arborio one.

The Italian rice is recognized as a quality one and this fact surely motivates Italian food lovers to look for other ways to prepare this cereal.

The basic risotto recipe is Parmesan one. It also pleases kids as the tomato taste does not appear and the grated parmesan cheese dominates.
