Pasta with broccoli

Pasta with broccoli, a quick healthy meal with parmesan cheese - tasty and easy to prepare.

This broccoli and pasta recipe can be done by anyone so simple it is! It's a quick healthy meal and a smart way to eat broccoli, as its taste becomes better with the addition of garlic, extra virgin olive oil and good grated parmesan cheese. macaroni recipes, quick healthy meal

Ingredients (4 people):

• 1 broccoli

• 3 minced cloves of garlic

• minced parsley

• 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

• about 0.22lb of grated parmesan cheese

• 0.88lb of short pasta (orecchiette is the most used for this recipe)

• salt

How to prepare:

Put water in a big pan to boil. Add salt and when it's boiling, add the broccoli cut in pieces.

Let it cook for about 10 minutes and then add the pasta (pay attention to pasta cooking time - usually it's written outside the pack).

In the meantime, take a small pan and put the extra virgin olive oil inside and add the minced garlic. Let it cook without colouring and then add the minced parsley. Turn off the gas.

Put it on your serving plate and...buon appetito! Enjoy!

When the pasta is done, pour it with the broccoli that cooked together on a colander to eliminate the water. Then take the big pan and put it (empty) again on the gas.

Add the extra virgin olive oil with the garlic and parsley and the pasta, mixing it all and quickly adding the grated parmesan cheese until it is all well mixed.
