Here you have a list of cheeses any Italian gourmet would die for! These are cheeses that cannot miss an Italian table.

Parmigiano Reggiano is the most known and popular one. This delicacy is also a healthy ingredient present in babies and elder people daily diets.

The production of this cheese follows rigid disciplinaries and can only be produced in a determinated Italian region.

Often many kinds of cheeses use the name Parmesan, but having nothing in common with this gourmet product.

I recommend a serious seller who delivers your Parmigiano Reggiano from US warehouses, with much less expense. The prices are great so are the products they offer. Check here a great list of cheeses you can order easily.

This excellent cheese will complete your Italian dish. After trying it you will understand the difference regarding others and why European Commission didn't authorize other cheeses to officially be called Parmesan Cheese. If one takes care to produce a great product, this cannot be confused with a common product that is made in such different way with different raw material.

This seller has also the Red Cow Parmigiano Reggiano, produced only with milk from Red Breed, as done in the past. This breed produces much less milk, but of higher quality. This gourmet product is the edge product of this kind.

A list of cheeses cannot miss Pecorino cheese - goat's milk cheese. This product is typical from Sardinia, where I live. Often you will see Pecorino Romano (it is even more popular), but it is the same kind of cheese. Its name originates from Sardinian shepherds who went to work on Rome and Tuscan lands and continued to produce the cheese there.

The same seller I mentioned above has also the true Pecorino from Sardinia. You can even choose amongst the pure goat or mixed with cow's milk and the smoked one (which I am fond of).

Pecorino cheese can be eaten as it is or added, grated, to some famous and popular recipes, such as Pasta All'Amatriciana, Pasta Cacio e Pepe and Pasta Carbonara (all originates from Rome region).

In Italian tables, cheeses are usually offered cut in small pieces together with some olives and cured meats as antipasto (Italian starter) or at the end, to "wash the mouth" as a popular saying. In this case you can put the cheese on a wood tray and people cut it at the table.
