Italian ham
Italian ham, the Italian cooked ham recipe is pretty simple. Often it is prepared with no preservatives and it is indicated for kid friendly recipes.
It is the most common cold cut in Italy, even if it's produced quite from the same producers as prosciutto crudo (raw ham), it is much more popular, because of its lower price and because it is spread all over the world.
The cooked ham is the one you use to make your omelete, your “ham’n’eggs”, your toast, on your pizza, to season your pasta (ham and cream pasta), and so on.
It's very used in children's diet and usually pleases all.
You can find different types, as there are the ones with no preservatives, others that are grilled and some are flavoured with some spice.
