Italian drinks recipes

I decided to add these Italian drinks recipes here because these famous beverages seems to carry a strong Italian atmosphere with them. And so, if you're planning an Italian dinner, you'll be able to offer a typical aperitif too!

I believe the most known one is Martini. It passed through generations and is still up tp date. I remember when I arrived in Italy (1982), Martini was drunk in any situation. Do you want a cute example? We went to many relatives' homes to invite them to our wedding. And guess what? Each time they invited us something to drink, it was usually Martini.

Instead of writing the recipes, I found these cute videos that show you in a very easy way how to prepare them.

Let's begin with...

Dry Martini

There's another famous and good one, Negroni. It's a little bit stronger, so put some appetizers aside for your guests (or for yourself!).

Negroni

There's a very tasty and light one, also very easy to do. It's Bellini cocktail, that was invented in 1948 at Harry's Bar in Venice. It was created in honour of the pink shades used by Italian painter Giovanni Bellini.Bellini

Just add 3/10 of peach puree (or good quality peach juice) to 7/10 of champagne and mix it.

The very original recipe was made passing the fresh peach trhough a strainer, but nobody does it anymore, as there are many good peach juices and purees.

Instaed of champagne you can use a good quality pro secco. Cin cin! Salute!
