Besciamella recipe: how to make bechamel sauce used for lasagna and other traditional Italian recipes.
This Italian bechamel sauce recipe is very simple to prepare and can also be used when you need to cook something au gratin, as it is neutral and complements both meat and fish and almost any other dish.
For 4 people:
• 33.8oz liter of milk• 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
• 1 yolk (optional)
• 1 tablespoon of butter
How to prepare:
Place the milk in a pan and add the butter and the flour (also the yolk if you wish to include it). Turn on the gas (medium) and begin to stir, taking care to dissolve the flour to form a smooth cream.
Keep stirring until it becomes a creamy consistency. Then turn off the gas and add salt and nutmeg. The besciamella is now ready to be used in any recipe of your choice.
